James K. Grace

Jim GraceJames K. Grace joined the firm in January of 2017 and has since been named as a partner of Grace, Marmero.  Prior to joining the firm, James was a partner in Grace and Lenti with a concentration on Real Estate, Estate Planning, Labor and Employment and Civil Litigation.  Jim was also Municipal Public Defender in Pemberton, Westampton, Eastampton, Hainesport and Riverside and Alternate Public Defender in Tabernacle.  Jim has extensive experience in handling municipal criminal defense.  In addition, James was a solo practitioner for over 10 years.

James graduated from Rutgers School of Law in 2000 and was admitted to the bar in the States of New Jersey and New York.  Prior to law school, James was a probation officer with the NJ Judiciary focusing on juvenile supervision.  James graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Psychology from Richard Stockton University in New Jersey.  James attended and graduated from Holy Cross High School in Delran, NJ.

James is a lifelong resident in the State of New Jersey and has a deep appreciation for civil liberties, environmental policy and the production of clean energy.  James has served on several boards for non-profit organizations, which provide outreach to disadvantage youth, and is happy to be a part of the organization.

James primary responsibilities at Grace, Marmero include Penns Grove Housing Authority, Pleasantville Housing Authority, NJ Public Housing Authority JIF Defense Counsel and Cumberland County Utilities Authority as Solicitor.  Jim also represents multiple municipalities regarding Labor and Employment issues and litigation matters.
